I
was successful at convincing my "Honey" this was a
good idea.
It's not unusual for me to make last minute "Go
with the Flow" decisions like this. I had
attended this event last year so I was aware of what
to expect. I had originally planned to do this
trip with some other hair colleagues but for various
reason that did not happen.
All day Saturday it was debated whether or not I
should go ....... but finally a late evening journey
began which would end at the chosen destination
about 4:00 AM in the morning.
Well my first unexpected event was the Hotel we had
made Internet reservations for was booked and
because of various functions in the Atlanta
area that weekend we were told there were no
vacancies in the area surrounding the Convention
Center.
After another hour of riding around in a unfamiliar
area a room was located about 5 exits down.
Well the morning came and went so I found myself at
the exhibit Hall at about 3:30 PM. The hall
was scheduled to be open until 7:00 PM. This
leaves me 3 and a half hours to browse, shop and
network.
Once there I ran into many familiar Natural Hair Friends.
